* Please note: I don’t sell anything. I’m just a stay at home Mom with a video blog. *
I recorded most of this blog entry from my bed, first thing in the morning, in my pajamas, using the new notebook computer my hubby got me for my 40th birthday. So, I guess this is the “pajama party” edition of my blog!
This blog edition focus on “Morning Muscle Stiffness.” What causes morning muscle stiffness? What are the symptoms? What can be done about? How does diet effect morning muscle stiffness? Did Diana need a forklift this morning to shove her out of bed?
This episode features music from the local Christian rock band: “Kingsbard,” “Wake Up, Sleeper!”

Hi Locksy! You are …
- D.
Hi Locksy! You are definitely not mad. It is so hard to wake up like you did this morning, and be in tears. It is really awful sometimes, and there is nothing lazy about you. Give your body time to heal and recover, and do whatever you need to do in order to get through each day. I find that diet has more effect on how I feel than anything else, (although it takes 24 - 28 hours to see the impact of a food you eat on your fibromyalgia/body stiffness. A food journal is essential.)

Hi Moob! You are …
Hi Moob! You are so welcome! Well, I can’t claim credit for the wisdom on the painkillers. It is just something I have read several times. The most recent time was in an article in last month’s “Neurology Now.” (It is a free magazine that is always put out at my neurologist’s office.) The article talked about why painkillers don’t work as a solution for people with migraines. SInce I get migraines, well, I read every article I can on the topic. the logic made sense. Thanks for writing! -D

Wow! your …
Wow! your experience/decision about pain-killers is giving pause-for-thought about the subject.(will discuss with Dr as well)
I only take Paracetamol-for pain(it barely takes the edge-off)so it wouldn’t be much of a sacrifice. Am going to try water-therapy/swimming(useless swimmer!) since I hate the gym!(soooo boring!)haven’t really given diet a decent try yet….
Anyhow, keep doing what you’re doing,THANK YOU!

Teresa- I’m glad …
Teresa- I’m glad this video is helpful to you. After it took me SO long just to roll over yesterday morning, and then I STILL couldn’t get out of bed, well, I figured it was worth blogging over. I was glad my first-grader was there to give me a good SHOVE to get me out of bed. But, I did feel like a crickety 90-year old instead of a physically-fit 40-year old. Fibromyalgia is such a weird disease. Later in the day, my muscles could move again, and I went to the gym. Fibro is sooo weird!
